The Boss Baby: Family Business

The Boss Baby: Family Business is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated comedy film loosely based on the 2010 picture book of the same name by Marla Frazee, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. Wikipedia.

Boss Baby is summoned to the Board of Directors. Could his dream of becoming CEO – the ultimate ending to his corporate journey – finally be coming true? Nope. Boss Baby's blamed for every bad thing that's ever happened to Baby Corp and is fired and exiled down to earth.

Mega Fat Regular Baby, formerly known as Mega Fat CEO Baby, Mega Fat Mail Room Intern Baby and Mega Fat Intern Baby, and briefly mentioned as Mega Fat Anonymous Tipster, is a character featured in The Boss Baby: Back in Business. He debuts in the first episode of the first season.

Is Boss Baby real or imaginary?

That's basically the concept behind The Boss Baby, which, despite its marketing, is not a movie about a baby who is the boss of a company — it's more of a fantastical riff on babies' tendency to take over their parents' lives, filtered through the overactive imagination of the kiddo's big brother, Tim.

Tim's mum is shown as being pregnant in the movie's opening moments and then — after a credits sequence that shows a baby factory in the sky sorting infants — Boss Baby pulls up in a cab and rings the doorbell to the family's house.

The Broken Hearts Gallery

The Broken Hearts Gallery follows the always unique Lucy, a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City, who also happens to be an emotional hoarder. What if you saved a souvenir from every relationship you've ever been in?

The Broken Hearts Gallery is a 2020 romantic comedy film written and directed by Natalie Krinsky, in her directorial debut. Executive produced by Selena Gomez, the film stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Dacre Montgomery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo and Bernadette Peters. The plot follows a 20-something art gallery assistant in New York City who gets dumped by her latest boyfriend and creates a pop-up space for the items of previous relationships.

“The Broken Hearts Gallery” hits all the stops on the road to romantic-comedy gold: a messy breakup early in the movie; an ingenious scheme to channel a woman’s anger into a glam project; and a hot new man she has no interest in . . . at first.

In The Broken Hearts Gallery, the narrative properly kicks off when Lucy bonds with Nick at his entrepreneurial venture, the Chloe Hotel in Brooklyn. Viswanathan's character admits that she tends to collect objects from failed relationships, which leads to a new creative project within Nick's workplace - the Broken Hearts Gallery. If both protagonists can manage to somehow convince other people to support them, then perhaps the world can become a better place through shared emotional healing

A rainy day in new York

A rainy day in new york tells the story of two young people whose plans for a romantic weekend together in New York City are dashed as quickly as the sunlight turns into showers.

A Rainy Day in New York is a 2019 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Woody Allen. ... The film was completed in 2018, but its distributor Amazon Studios halted the release of the film following controversy regarding Allen and the Me Too movement.

A rainy day in new york is decorated in those downbeat, autumnal yellows, ochres and browns that are such an important part of Allen’s palette, with people wearing a lot of sweaters and corduroys, and it is shot by Vittorio Storaro who, as so often while working with Allen, goes in for that golden-tan glow. Yet, because there is little or no sunshine, this glow comes from the indoor lighting.

A rainy day in new york starts Timothée Chalamet as Gatsby Welles, Elle Fanning as Ashleigh Enright, Selena Gomez as Chan Tyrell, Jude Law as Ted Davidoff, Diego Luna as Francisco Vega, Liev Schreiber as Roland Pollard, Kelly Rohrbach as Terry, Annaleigh Ashford as Lily, Rebecca Hall as Connie Davidoff, Cherry Jones as Mrs. Welles, Will Rogers as Hunter Welles, Suki Waterhouse as Tiffany, Ben Warheit as Alvin Troller, Griffin Newman as Josh Loomis, Kathryn Leigh Scott as Wanda, Don Stephenson as Bemelmans Bar Waiter.

Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

Fearsome monsters Godzilla and King Kong square off in an epic battle for the ages, while humanity looks to wipe out both of the creatures and take back the planet once and for all.

Godzilla vs. Kong is an upcoming American monster film directed by Adam Wingard. A sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, it is the fourth film in Legendary's MonsterVerse. The film is also the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise, the 12th film in the King Kong franchise, and the fourth Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio.

The film stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.

The American releases of Godzilla (Godzilla, King of the Monsters!), King Kong vs. Godzilla, and The Return of Godzilla (Godzilla 1985) featured additional footage with American actors filmed by small Hollywood production companies that merged the American footage with the original Japanese footage in order to appeal to American audiences. Invasion of Astro-Monster was the first Godzilla film to be co-produced between a Japanese studio (Toho) and an American studio (UPA). The first Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio was TriStar's Godzilla (1998).

Godzilla vs. Kong could culminate in a team-up between the two titular Titans as they go up against Mechagodzilla and Mecha-King Ghidorah. ... Though Godzilla and King Kong are two of the most famous giant monsters in movie history, the two have only battled onscreen in one movie.

While the ending of the film does look somewhat ambiguous, Toho confirmed that King Kong was indeed the winner in their 1962–63 English-language film program Toho Films Vol. 8, which states in the film's plot synopsis, A spectacular duel is arranged on the summit of Mt. Fuji and King Kong is victorious.

1962's “King Kong vs. Godzilla” postulated they were “instinctive rivals.” The idea was that because each was an apex predator, at the top of his local food chain, they would inevitably come into conflict if one encroached on the other's territory.

Godzilla vs. Kong is the last movie officially slated for the MonsterVerse, which now includes the 2014 Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.May 19, 2020

Godzilla: king of Monster

The members of Monarch, an crypto-zoological organisation, must rely on the Godzilla and Mothra to defeat King Ghidorah and Rodan, after the former awakens other dormant Titans to destroy the world.

Kong: King of Skull Island Kong's parents were quite elderly when they were slaughtered by Gaw: a gigantic Deathrunner. When his juvenile son discovered his father's corpse, it was being eaten by a parent and child Meat-Eater, which Kong believed had killed him.

The film stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, Aisha Hinds, O'Shea Jackson Jr., David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters was theatrically released on May 31, 2019, to mixed reviews, with praise for the visual effects, action sequences, cinematography, and musical score but criticism aimed at the pacing, tone, plot, and characters.

McCreary called the cover "the most audacious piece of music" he had produced in his career, citing the orchestra, choir, taiko chanting, taiko drumming, heavy metal rhythm section, Hoglan's double-kick drums, and Tankian's vocals used to produce the track. McCreary stated "For [the character] Godzilla, I chose to incorporate and adapt the legendary Akira Ifukube’s iconic theme, and for Mothra, Yūji Koseki’s immortal 'Mothra’s Song'."

Trolls world tour

Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music -- funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.

Unfortunately for Disney Plus subscribers, Trolls World Tour will not be joining the Disney Plus lineup. The film is produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures — in other words, Disney is not involved in the film at all.

As of right now, Trolls World Tour has raked in $77 million in revenue for Universal, which equates to $95 million in rental fees from those five million viewers, according to a source.Apr 28, 2020

The film is a sequel to the 2016 film Trolls, directed by Walt Dohrn with co-direction by David P. Smith, produced by Gina Shay, and written by Jonathan Aibel, Glenn Berger, Elizabeth Tippet, Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky, from a story by Aibel and Berger.

The film features an ensemble cast that features the voices of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Rachel Bloom, Ozzy Osbourne, James Corden, Ron Funches, Kelly Clarkson, Anderson Paak, Sam Rockwell, George Clinton, Mary J. The high note

Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis, a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie is Grace's overworked personal assistant who's stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace's manager presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

Critics Consensus The High Note doesn't quite soar above rom-com formula, but audiences seeking some comfort viewing should find themselves solidly in harmony with this well-acted genre entry.

'The High Note' is not based on a true story. While watching Tracee Ellis Ross, dressed as a performing artist, might give us some ideas, especially since she is Diana Ross' daughter, the film is completely fictional.

You have plenty of options to watch The High Note online this weekend. It's available to rent on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, iTunes, Vudu, Google Play, Fandango and anywhere else you can rent movies online.

Slums of Beverly hills

Vivian, a teenager, lives in Beverly Hills with her poor family. Their lives change after Rita, her wealthy cousin, starts staying with them and becomes an inspiration for Vivian.
Initial release: August 14, 1998 (USA)
“Slums of Beverly Hills” was born to inspire a sitcom, and probably a pretty good one, too. It's about a poor Jewish family who moves by night from one sleazy apartment to another, jumping the rent but always staying within Beverly Hills to take advantage of the educational system.

Directed by Tamara Jenkins. A zany comedy filled with humorous takes on sexuality in the 1970s.

Writer/director Tamara Jenkins based much of Slums Of Beverly Hills on her own adolescence, and she goes out of her way to accurately address the dilemmas that many women face as they approach adulthood. Natasha Lyonne is excellent as a young Jewish girl suddenly coming to terms with big breasts, unpredictable periods, and sex in the midst of her wildly dysfunctional family.

The king of Staten island

A

semi-autobiographical comedy-drama about Pete Davidson growing up in Staten Island, including losing his father during 9/11 and entering the world of stand up comedy.
Initial release: June 12, 2020 (Canada)

The King of Staten Island is a 2020 American comedy-drama film directed by Judd Apatow, from a screenplay by Apatow, Pete Davidson, and Dave Sirus. It stars Davidson, Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow, and Steve Buscemi, and follows a young man who must get his life together after his mother starts dating a new man who, like his deceased father, is a firefighter.

Pete Davidson's “The King of Staten Island” was pulled unceremoniously — and mysteriously — from drive-in theaters last week, reports Variety. The semi-autobiographical film, which offers a comic take on “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson's childhood in the borough, was instead released Friday for video only.

Although not explicitly a true story, The King of Staten Island is an adaptation of Pete Davidson's life. Judd Apatow's latest movie features Davidson playing a fictionalized version of himself; a character who hopes to be a tattoo artist instead of a comedian.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

After gaining superpowers from a spider bite, Miles Morales protects the city as Spider-Man. Soon, he meets alternate versions of himself and gets embroiled in an epic battle to save the multiverse.

Spider-Verse: A New Dimension: With a stunning visual style and state of the art animation designed to take the viewer into the pages of a comic, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is not only a love letter to comic books but a groundbreaking take on the super hero genre. Hear from the artists and filmmakers who pushed the boundaries of the artformas they discuss their journey.

/Film logo spider-man into the spider-verse b-roll 2' The ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ B-Roll of Nicolas Cage Voice Acting is Pure Cinema Posted on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 by Hoai-Tran Bui Voice acting is an undervalued profession, one that we don’t get to see much of unless it’s a star-studded affair like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. But the newly released Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse b-roll footage gives us a peek behind the curtain, where stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren, John Mulaney, and Kimiko Glenn apparently act in full hair and make-up.

But no one is as extra as Nicolas Cage, who shows up in a full suit and gives his whole being into voicing his character. Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse B-Roll Brief snippets of the cast’s recording sessions make up this Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse b-roll video, but the entire thing is such a delight to watch that you’ll want an entire movie of just this.

There’s nothing more fun than watching Mulaney give his all into voicing the goofy Spider-Ham, or see how Steinfeld’s elastic expressions become the foundation for her character Gwen Stacy.

But the most fun to watch of all of them is Nicolas Cage, a serious actor who takes very seriously his performance as a black-and-white detective version of Spider-Man from an alternate dimension.
“Wherever I go, the wind follows,” Cage growls, “and the wind…smells like rain,” his brow furrowing and his hands dramatically gesturing as he delivers his lines with gusto. It’s pure cinema. And though it feels like a loss to not experience his whole performance in live-action, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘s stunning animation makes it (almost) worth it.

City of angel

Seth is an angel who guides humans to the next life. When he sees Maggie, a heart surgeon trying to save a patient, he falls in love with her. Seth makes a choice which changes everything.

Los Angeles, United States, widely nicknamed "City of Angels" ("the angels" is the literal translation in Spanish of "Los Ángeles") Puebla (city), Mexico, formerly known as Puebla de los Ángeles, and popularly known as Ciudad de los Ángeles or Angelópolis (City of the Angels)

Director Brad Silberling praised Wim Wenders' 1987 Franco-German film Wings of Desire, calling it "truly the most incredible cinematic experience of observation of human detail".[16] Silberling, while acknowledging Wenders' film was meant as a tribute to West Berlin, remarked that it became "a larger human discussion"

Cage has been previously married three times. First to Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001, then to Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004, and once more to former waitress Alice Kim from 2004 to 2016.

The sorcerer's apprentice

Master sorcerer Balthazar hires Dave, a student, as an apprentice to aid him in saving the city from his arch-enemy, Maxim Horvath. Thus, Dave gets a crash course in the art and science of magic.

 Critic reviews

Everything and the kitchen sink is in this movie: adventure, mythology, buddy comedy, wizardry, and even romance.
 S. Jhoanna Robledo
Common Sense Media

This symphonic poem was inspired by Goethe's ballad Der Zauberlehrling, written in 1797. It tells the story of an old wizard, who leaves his apprentice to clean up. Taking control of the wizard's magic, the apprentice summons a broom to do the cleaning for him, carrying and emptying pails of water.

You know, I keep getting asked, throughout these interviews, “Is there going to be a sequel to “Sorcerer's Apprentice?”, which is a silly question before the movie comes out. If the movie doesn't do well, it doesn't matter how good it is, the answer is no.

Spies in disguise

Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can't learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril.

Critic reviews
Spies in Disguise would have been a big recommendation, but the film’s insistence on not getting out of the genre’s comfort zone makes you think this is a lost opportunity.
Mihir Fadnavis Firstpost

If you’re going to cast a family-friendly adventure, you could definitely do worse than Will “Aladdin‘s New Genie” Smith and Tom “Spider-Man” Holland. Sure, they’re only providing their voices in this week’s Spies in Disguise, but not only are they recognizable faces, they’re also genuinely great performers, which means they’re still capable of pretty good chemistry even in animated roles.
Here, Smith voices top-notch spy Lance Sterling, who finds himself framed for treason and forced to turn to technological whiz kid Walter Beckett (Holland) for help. Unfortunately, that help comes in the form of Walter accidentally transforming Lance into a pigeon, which Lance then uses to his advantage to clear his name and save the world (of course).
If that all sounds like something you’ve heard before (minus the turning-into-a-pigeon part), it’s probably because Spies in Disguise uses fairly standard spy movie plotting, and some critics thought that made it another forgettable children’s film to add to an already monumental pile.
Most critics, however, felt Spies was charming enough, with solid work from its cast (which also includes Rashida Jones, Rachel Brosnahan, Karen Gillan, and perennial villain Ben Mendelsohn) and enough color and goofy flourishes to keep younger viewers engaged. If you’re looking for a post-Christmas outing for the whole family, this is a decent option.
