'Love Letters From the Past
An American girl discovers a love letter that changes her life in this romantic comedy starring Amanda Seyfried and Vanessa Redgrave. The setting is Verona, Italy -- the city where Romeo and Juliet first met. In Verona, there's a wall where the lovelorn leave notes, hoping that Juliet will answer their inquiries about love. Sophie (Seyfried) is part of a team of volunteers who respond to the letters. When Sophie answers a letter from 1957, the woman who wrote it (Redgrave) decides to seek out the one that got away, and romance starts to blossom all around.
Read a letter addressed to someone else and perhaps even reward is an action that is not commendable. Especially if it reached a reply letter was only made the message sender must travel long distances to bring the fire of romance that had long gone out. But that's just what happens to an American woman (Amanda Seyfried) who was vacationing in Italy.
American women are coming to Italy with her lover, played by Gael GarcĂa Bernal. Arriving in Italy, this couple received a letter written decades earlier. The letter was actually addressed to Juliet Capulet (character in the story of Romeo and Juliet) that its request for advice about romance.
It is said the old woman, played by Vanessa Redgrave had a chance to travel to Italy and met a handsome man who lures his heart. Although it has been through many years but this woman can not seem to forget that memorable moment. Because this woman was touched on the story, the lovers had then tried to find a young man who has captured the heart of the woman who is now waiting for this certainty.
