A group of rogue soldiers seek shelter from the zombie apocalypse on scenic Plum Island, only to become caught up in a bitter feud between two warring families. Sarge (Alan Van Sprang) and his motley crew of military abandoners are searching for a safe place to rest when they cross paths with Patrick O'Flynn (Kenneth Welsh). O'Flynn has been banished from Plum Island, where his family is locked in a longtime quarrel with the Muldoons. The O'Flynns see the flesh-eaters as subhuman, never hesitating to put a bullet between their eyes; the Muldoons balk at the prospect of killing their gut-munching loved ones, instead opting to care for their rotting kinfolk until scientists find a cure for the undead scourge. As the division between the two families grows deeper and wider, Crocket and his men realize that on Plum Island, the zombies are the least of their worries.
Since time immemorial, families and family Muldoons O'Flynn had never got along. Despite both living in small island called Plum Island, but both are always fighting over the opportunity to become the most powerful. Even when the Plum Island zombies that prey on humans invaded even these two families still do not want to get along. They each have their own principles in dealing with this dangerous problem.
Families headed by Patrick O'Flynn O'Flynn (Kenneth Welsh) has a simple way to face 'epidemic' zombie: kill them all! Meanwhile, on the other hand, Muldoons family led by Seamus Muldoon (Richard Fitzpatrick), instead hoping to find a way to treat these zombies in order to become human again as before because they capture as many zombies and they are placed in quarantine to be investigated.
When the family began shortage O'Flynn 'power' they were forced to evacuate to the mainland Patrick. On the mainland this Patrick met a group of soldiers led by Sarge Crockett (Alan Van sprang). Sarge willing to help Patrick to solve the problem he faced at Plum Island. The problem is, whether they have enough time to go back to Plum Island and save all the human inhabitants of the tiny island?
